Have you ever taken your pet in to be spayed and when you came back they had neutered him? That's what happened to me this week with our sweet little 6 month old kitten CoCo who I was told was a girl when we got (her) him. At least it was a little cheaper but I really didn't want another boy cat... Too late now he's a part of the family and really good with the kids and other pets. My 4 year old refuses to believe she is suddenly a he nor will he let us change the name. So hopefully we have not confused his sexuality too much calling him Coco Girl for several months now. It's hard to make the mental change too, just like when someone you know starts going by a different name or something, in your head the name never changes, you know? So now it's CoCo boy, I guess... :0)
