Moose on Parade is a local fundraiser held on the 4th of July here in Downtown Talkeetna. The moose, made by locals, will be in the parade and then auctioned off in the Village Park. Ours was a group effort by the open air market artisans. He is a Dragon/Moose named "Moo-Gon". Also, that is my booth there behind him... Below is the description that is posted with it.
My mother is a moose and my father is a
dragon.Being born in Alaska makes it very
useful to be half dragon, I can always start
a fire on cold winter days. In the summer
I can eat my very favorite food,
FIREWEED FLOWERS! The only problem
is they make me burp FIRE...
