Jaxon's Birthday Party

A simple after school "super hero theme" playground party with cupcakes, berry lemonade, fruit & fresh smoked salmon. It was perfect, the sun even came out for it! Jax had a great time with his friends. Tomorrow we are taking the boys to the state fair after school, should be fun!

Mama Brown Bear

We woke up to this Mama Brown Bear with 2 small cubs in our yard yesterday morning (in this photo the babies are above her in the tree, I only had room for a couple photos on my camera disc and they didn't turn out too great). The dogs were going crazy but that didn't stop them from hanging out under this tree for a bit. Then they made the rounds, I hear a neighbor got photos of them drinking from their kiddie pool. You never know when your going to see wildlife up here, but it's usually when you least expect it!
