A Moose In The Yard

Yesterday morning we noticed moose tracks all over the driveway and outside our basement door then a little while later Andy saw it was still hanging out in our backyard behind some trees. So we watched him cruise around for quite some time before he moved on to other yards in the neighborhood. You can barely see him out the window behind Hawken but he's there nibbling on frozen shrubbery.

Upstairs

We have been making much progress on the upstairs of our house. So close to having bedrooms, Yeah! Here's the hallway with it's new paint and floors. It's awsome to be able to go upstairs without shoes on... Alaskans understand living in a construction zone better than anyone I think. We are going to use dark trim and I want to paint the doors dark to. The buffalo hide is back on the wall after taking it down way back when in Colorado. It's looking like a home, the boys (and us) can't wait to have bedrooms. Stay tuned for some finished room photos when available...
