Circus Parade

Hawk and I did the Friday parade with with Jaxon and the circus kids. Here we are from "inside" the parade walking down Main St. in Talkeetna. Pretty normal day for our crazy little town... :0)

Circus Monkey Jax

This was the "Animal Trapeeze" act. They each acted like an animal and hopped up on the trapeeze for a few seconds while everyone clapped and cheered for each of them, Jax was a monkey, which is pretty fitting I must say. It was a packed house for 4 performances last week at our community arts hangar. He did great, they all did...

Hawken Sunning Himself

A little snack break today during Jaxon's Green Light Circus camp. Hawken was soaking up some sun here. This area outside the Arts Hangar is also home to the Open Air Market where I have a booth, but only on weekends (Sat-Mon.). We just got home from the 1st circus performance, Jax did awesome and there are 3 shows to go this weekend as well as 2 parades... More photos to come!

Eclipse

This is the eclipse from a few weeks ago and the celebration for it in our village park, downtown Talkeetna. I had not added these yet because I've been too busy to blog lately.

Monster King

Not a lot of people in our area got to catch a King Salmon this year due to lower limits and flooded rivers and creeks, but Andy did on June 9th. She was a nice fish at 35lbs and about 40 inches long. He already smoked 1/2 of it and man it's good. It's also posted on the Anchorage Daily News website on the "nice catch" photos under Salmon pics. www.adn.com
