Chilling out on the porch yesterday with a cup of green tea while the boys kept playing in the snow. I got snow in my boot playing with them and they can keep going for a couple hours out there if it's warm enough. I had to trade my wet boots for slippers but it was so nice I just sat out there and watched them play. We have to take advantage when the weather is good because it can change fast. I also love my new mug. It was a score of a trade at the rummage sale in Trapper Creek last week. Happy Winter to you all...

Do It Yourself = DIY

Big surprise I love DIY projects. I am a crafter at heart and when I found this IKEA pillow case at a thrift store in Oregon last fall for a dollar I saw a curtain for my bedroom to be. Now that I have said bedroom I broke out my trusty sewing machine, a well used X-mas gift from my man about 6 yrs. ago now (thanx babe...) and "walla" a curtain was born. While I was at it I made two more for my living room with some fabric I found on clearance last week. It feels good to make things for your home, I'm not sure what it is. What's next? Maybe some throw pillows to match, when I find time...
